Regulatory & Sustainability Compliance

Trade in agarwood (Aquilaria spp.) is regulated internationally under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) and, in the Philippines, by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR). Dendrotonics is committed to operating in compliance with applicable CITES requirements and Philippine forestry and environmental regulations. Documentation relating to permits and certifications is available on request.

Participants in plantation, lease, or revenue-share arrangements are responsible for obtaining and maintaining any permits, clearances, registrations, or local government approvals applicable to their own land, operations, or subsequent sale of harvested material, except where a separate written agreement with Dendrotonics expressly provides otherwise.

Disclaimers

1. General Information Only

The content of this website — including articles, guides, videos, webinars, infographics, and downloadable materials — is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not legal, financial, investment, tax, accounting, agronomic, horticultural, or other professional advice, and must not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who has reviewed your particular circumstances. No professional, advisory, or fiduciary relationship is created by your use of this site, by subscribing to our updates, or by attending our webinars or events.

2. No Investment Advice; No Offer of Securities

Information on this site regarding plantation, lease, co-planting, and revenue-share opportunities is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute an offer to sell, a solicitation of an offer to buy, or a recommendation regarding any security, investment product, or financial instrument in any jurisdiction, and it is not an offer or solicitation in any jurisdiction where such an offer would be unlawful.

Any participation in a Dendrotonics programme is governed exclusively by a separate written agreement executed between the parties. In the event of any inconsistency between this website and such an agreement, the executed agreement controls. Prospective participants should obtain independent legal, financial, and tax advice before making any commitment.

3. Forward-Looking Statements

This site contains forward-looking statements — including projections, estimates, and illustrations relating to tree growth rates, inoculation success, resin formation, harvest timelines, yield volumes, grading outcomes, market prices, revenue, and return on participation.

Forward-looking statements are estimates based on assumptions and information available at the time of publication. They are not guarantees, warranties, promises, or assurances of any future result. Actual outcomes may differ materially, and may be substantially lower than any figure presented.

4. Agricultural & Biological Risk

Agarwood cultivation is an agricultural and biological undertaking subject to risks outside the control of Dendrotonics, including but not limited to: weather, typhoons, drought, flooding, and climate variability; soil conditions and site suitability; pests, pathogens, and disease; fire, theft, trespass, and vandalism; variation in individual tree response to inoculation; plantation management practices and standard of care applied by the landowner or operator; changes in law, regulation, permitting, or CITES listing; and changes in market demand, buyer requirements, and pricing.

Trees may fail to establish, fail to produce resin, produce resin of lower grade or quantity than anticipated, or take longer to reach harvestable quality than estimated. Participation carries the risk of partial or total loss of the capital, land use, labour, and time committed. You should not participate with funds you cannot afford to lose.

5. Illustrative Figures, Testimonials & Case Studies

Prices, yields, timelines, valuations, and financial figures presented on this site — including any figure described as “up to,” “as much as,” “potential,” or similar — are illustrative and drawn from specific reference points such as reported international market rates, historical transactions, or individual cases. They are not representations of typical, average, or expected results, and they are not offers to buy or sell at those prices.

Testimonials, case studies, farmer stories, media features, and third-party statements reflect the experience of the individuals concerned at a particular time. Individual results vary and are not indicative of what any other participant will achieve. Photographs and images may be illustrative and may not depict the specific site, tree, product, or grade being described.

6. Content Accuracy

While we take reasonable care to keep this site accurate and current, we make no representation or warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness, adequacy, reliability, or timeliness of any content. Content may be updated, amended, or removed at any time without notice. Scientific, agronomic, regulatory, and market information changes, and content should be read as current only as at its publication or last-updated date.

7. Third-Party Content, Links & Advertising

This site may reference, link to, embed, or display content from third parties — including news coverage, podcast and video platforms, social media, partner organisations, and third-party advertising served by Google and other advertising providers.

Dendrotonics does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, products, services, policies, or practices. Inclusion of a link, embed, quotation, media logo, or advertisement does not constitute endorsement, sponsorship, verification, or recommendation by Dendrotonics, and advertisements displayed on this site are selected by third-party advertising systems rather than by Dendrotonics. Your dealings with any third party are solely between you and that third party.

8. No Warranty

This site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error-free operation, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dendrotonics Corp., Inc., together with its directors, officers, employees, consultants, agents, and affiliates, shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, yield, crop, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or anticipated savings, arising out of or in connection with your access to, use of, or reliance on this site or its content, whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, statute, or any other legal theory, and whether or not Dendrotonics has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these disclaimers excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Philippine law, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct, or our liability to online consumers as the seller under the Internet Transactions Act of 2023 (Republic Act No. 11967).

10. Governing Law

These disclaimers are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this site or its content shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Bulacan, Philippines.
